It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the 56th Annual Meeting of Japanese Retina and Vitreous Society (JRVS) to be held in Tokyo from 1-3 December 2017.
The assessments and treatments of vitreoretinal diseases are rapidly changing with the advancements of surgical techniques and imaging devices. These new devices have allowed clinicians to not only diagnose the specific disease but also to determine the pathophysiological bases for the disease process. During this meeting, you will receive the latest information on the diagnosis and best treatment of various vitreoretinal diseases.
We are pleased to announce that the invited lecture will be presented by Professor Paulo Stanga, Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and Professor of Ophthalmology & Retinal Regeneration at the University of Manchester in England. In addition, we will have two symposia on vitreoretinal surgery and medical treatment of vitreoretinal diseases. Professor Paulo Stanga and Professor Quan Dong Nguyen from Stanford University will oversee these two symposia. The official language of these symposia is English, and you are invited to actively participate in the Discussion section.
The 2nd Taiwan-Japan Vitreoretinal Joint Meeting will also be held at the same time. The Taiwanese and Japanese Ophthalmologists will present their latest findings and insights to all of you and the world during this congress.
We look forward to welcoming you to our congress in the capital city Tokyo in December 2017.
