It is our great pleasure and honor to host the 9th biennial meeting for the Society for Free Radical Research Asia will be held at Kyoto International Community House (Kokoka), Kyoto, Japan from Thursday, April 4 to Sunday, April 7, 2019.
This meeting will be a prominent meeting for the latest advances in the fundamentals of Redox Biology and Free Radical Research and its Clinical and Biotech/Pharmaceutical applications. Also, recent biotechnological developments and analytical strategies to tackle the role of redox Biology in health and disease, aiming at preventing, cure and delaying disease will be discussed.
For SFRR Asia 2019, we have adopted the theme, ‘The New Era for Redox Research’. The scientific program will include daily parallel thematic sessions(symposia) and plenary lectures, as well as poster presentations and commercial exhibitions during the four days. The meeting will offer opportunities to exchange scientific ideas and create networks between people from several fields.
Furthermore, Kyoto is a special traditional place in Japan as you may be aware of ; this city has been the capital of Japan till 140 years ago for more than 1,000 years and has more than two thousand temples and shrines within the city. We believe that you can also enjoy blooming cherry blossom during this meeting.
