It is a great honor for the Department of Ophthalmology of Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine to host the 78th Annual Congress of Japan Clinical Ophthalmology. I sincerely thank the Board of Trustees of the Japanese Ophthalmological Society (JOS) for appointing us to host this event. I am also deeply grateful to the Program Committee, the JOS members, and all others involved in the congress design.
The theme of this Annual Congress is "Contribution to the Future". In recent years, remarkable progress has been made in ophthalmology, in both diagnosis techniques and treatment strategies. We aim to provide a learning experience for physicians and associated medical staff, and provide them with the inspiration they need for tomorrow. In this conference, we are conscious of diversity and inclusiveness, and we hope that everyone will enjoy the conference.
The 78th Annual Congress of Japan Clinical Ophthalmology will be held from the 14th (Thur) through 17th (Sun) of November, 2024 at the Kyoto International Conference Center and the Prince Kyoto Takaragaike. We greatly look forward to seeing many of you at the Annual Congress!
