Abstract Submission Period

Abstract submission is open from November 2, 2022.

12:00, January 5 (Thursday), 2023 (Japan Standard Time, UTC+9)
Extended to 12:00, January 12 (Thursday), 2023 (Japan Standard Time, UTC+9)
Closed. Thank you for a lot of submissions.
*Please note that no extensions will be granted after 12th January, 2023 for visa applications.
*Presenting authors who wish to be considered for the Dodt Award for best presentation must be under the age of 35 years on 15th March 2023.

Submission Guidelines

All abstracts must be submitted in English exclusively via the online abstract submission system. Submissions by post, email, fax or any other means will NOT be accepted.
AUTHORS – FIRST (PRESENTING) AUTHOR – The first author will be the presenting author. The first (presenting) author is expected to register and pay the full registration fee, prepare the presentation and attend the conference.
Please provide an accurate email address of the first (presenting) author. Abstract submission results and abstract-related correspondence will be sent by email to the first author.
CO-AUTHOR(S) – A maximum of 19 co-authors are allowed for each abstract. Type in the names and affiliations as you would like them to appear in published material.
The ABSTRACT TITLE should be no longer than 20 words including spaces.
Abstract Content (excluding title, authors, affiliations) should include the following headings: Purpose, Methods, Results, Conclusions. In case of case report, the Abstract Content should include the following headings: Background, Case Report, Conclusions. The abstract must not exceed 500 words (approx. 3000 characters). Do not include graphs, tables, images and references in the abstract.
The following abbreviations do not need to be written in full: ISCEV, ERG, VEP, mfERG, PERG, mfVEP, LED, MRI, OPs. All others should be written in full for their first occurrence,
e.g. The photopic negative responses (PhNR) was recorded…
Any references in the text should use the brief citation format, e.g. Marmor et al., Doc Ophthalmol: 2009;118:69-77.

Successfully submitted abstracts will be acknowledged with an email including an abstract number. If you do not receive an email within 24 hours after submission, please contact the Congress Secretariat by email at iscev2023@jtbcom.co.jp.
Late submissions will NOT be considered.
Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection in late January 2023.

In addition, the “presenters' names," “affiliation names," “title" and “abstract text" shall be used for publication in the program/proceedings and on the website, but not for other purposes. The registration process for applications has been commissioned to c/o JTB Communication Design in order to facilitate management operations.
