The 67th Annual Meeting of the Japan Contact Lens Society
Ryoji Yanai, MD, PhD
Associate Professor of the Department of Ophthalmology
Tokushima University Graduate School

It is with great honor that I host the 67th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Contact Lens Society to be held in Yokohama, Japan, on July 12 (Sat.) and 13 (Sun.), 2025. I would like to express our sincere appreciation to the board members and Japanese Contact Lens Society members.

This year's Annual Meeting will be held as Foursome 2025 Yokohama, both as a regular and on-demand meeting. Under the theme of “Reunion for the future,” we are determined to enliven Foursome and open up society's future by mobilizing the four societies' collective efforts.

Dr. Hiroshi Toshida of Juntendo University will give the special lecture, who has long been a leading expert in contact lens practice and research. The symposium will focus on lens care for orthokeratology lenses, disseminate information, and review issues in the next generation of contact lens practice. In the educational seminar, we plan to help you acquire the knowledge necessary for ethical regulations of clinical research and conference presentations.

Furthermore, as in previous years, we plan to hold a fundamental contact lens course, a contact lens workshop, and an orthokeratology workshop to improve the skills of daily CL practice. We will do our best to make this conference meaningful for those involved in contact lens care.

We will make every effort to ensure that everyone who attends Foursome 2025 Yokohama will be satisfied and enjoy the conference.

We look forward to the participation of many people.

See you in Yokohama!
